When poetry and comics converge everybody wins!
Come and support Free Holé Slam as we gear up for this year’s National Poetry Slam to be held in Boston, later this summer. In addition you’ll be able to support local comic book artists and poets as they offer their content in a night filled with creativity, community and border-crossing, genre-bending art!
Schedule:
- 19.00 hrs: Doors Open. Come and visit the exhibits and vendor tables.
- 20.00hrs-21.00hrs: Nerd Slam. Hosted by Jack Lutz from 101 Gold FM. Confirmed poets: Jen, Ray, RJ, Dark Poet, David, Ivy Magaña & Danielle.
- 21.00hrs-22.00hrs: Impromptu readings. The entire Glasbox Gallery will become one large stage for poets to share.
- 22.00hrs-22.30hrs: Live VideoRant by León De la Rosa and Gabriela Durán. Spoken word, live VJ’ing, a multimedia experience.
- 22.30hrs-00.00hrs: PARTY!
