The first ever FHS Slam-Off was an absolute success. Our second-to-last slam of the open slam season was one to remember, particularly by FHS’ own Ray Ramos, who got two-times owned. History was made on the first slam of 2010 as little Jen Shugert finally ended a long string of second place efforts, which began in 1996 when she was first runner up for Little Miss Crackhead USA, and came on top of a slam for the first time in her now illustrious career that expands [ READ MORE ]
Our final slam of ’09 was by far the best one of the year! McKinnley hosted and fourteen slammers joined in the celebration, including the return of Twain and his stuck-in-the-county-jail-while-turning-4o-something poem! Our second Open-Mic from our second coming came and went. Attendance was not what we expected, so we need to get better at that, and we need your support. We premiered Story Time: 5-minute slots in which people can take over the mike in order to relate a story of importance to them, something funny [ READ MORE ]
